We have a great collection of postwar from the final collection of Leonard Krygier. Lenny amassed several collections over the course of his life and we were fortunate enough to have sold his last huge postwar Lionel collection in 2019, 2020 and 2021. After that, Len collected all kinds of stuff to include prewar American Flyer Wide Gauge, Lionels standard gauge, prewar Lionel O gauge plus the usual Postwar Lionel O gauge as well as a pretty great selection of American Flyer postwar S gauge. We may sell the S gauge in the May auction if we can get to it but we have another massive S gauge collection to sell in September. There are steam and diesel locomotives, tons of freight cars including 6464 box cars, military cars, passenger cars and accessories. There are many cars in original boxes as well as a good amount of cars that are without their original boxes.
There are also some original postwar Lionel parts left as Len liked to take things that were no longer working properly and bring them back to life. He was a master at doing it but he wasn't into doing anything but the mechanical side of it, no painting. If there are any trains that have been altered, it is a very small portion and we will gladly point out when something has been repainted or touched up.
All online bidders in the online portion of the sale shall pay an 18.5%, in-house bidders shall pay a 13.5% buyers premium, we collect 7% Indiana sales tax for those without tax exempt forms, a 3.5% discount will be offered for those paying with cash or check. Shipping is handled in-house but billed on a separate invoice through Shipping Saint once payment has been received.
We are always accepting good consignments for future sales, single items or entire collections, vintage toys, all scales / gauges and all manufacturers of toy or model trains, vintage model kits, action figures, comic books, Star Wars, slot cars, die cast cars such as Corgi, Dinky, Hot Wheels and Matchbox, Marx play sets, and numerous other collectibles.
