Toystrainsandotheroldstuff LLC is proud to present a fantastic collection of prewar American Flyer trains from the collection of W. Kemper Lease. Highlights include a scarce 4011 5-window caboose, four early Lionel produced 10 series cars for American Flyer, boxed wide gauge sets to include Butler Brothers, Pocahontas, Chief, Commander, Eagle, Lone Scout, Trailblazer plus others, Sirus and Varney Mayflower set, very early black 4000 electric locomotive, many boxed accessories, rare individual freight cars such as a blue 4007 sand car, prototype gray lumber car, scarce Union Station, 1929 Ives casting steam locomotive, numerous steam locomotives with tenders, many boxes and more. Mr. Lease collected quality and was always looking for variations which are fairly abundant here. There are numerous O gauge American Flyer trains with several Edmonds Metzel era sets and accessories plus a few very nice Bing O gauge trains.
Also included will be select Lionel postwar O gauge trains from the Sidney Brown estate plus a small but fantastic addition of high grade postwar sets to include Sears 9641, 2244W, 2507W, 1484WS, three different 1464W, 2234W and others, individual locomotive units in master cartons to include 671, 681, 726, 2055 steam plus 2354 and 2032 diesels, 2332 and 2340 GG-1, 634 Santa Fe NW2 in scarce cellophane window box and various rolling stock with high grade original boxes from a private collection. All online bidders shall pay a 15% buyers premium, in-house bidders pay a 10% buyers premium, a 3.5% convenience fee shall be applied for credit payments done via our website but 4% done through Liveauctioneers and Proxibid on top of the entire invoice. Shipping is handled in-house but billed on a separate invoice through Shipping Saint, a website that we use to get the best rates.

Rare American Flyer wide gauge 4007 blue sand car. Possibly a paint sample, tested under a blaclight next to the preceding and following lots. The results are seen in the photos. The paint fluoresces just like the 4012 and 4000 machinery cars. It does have wear and the paint has pooled in areas on the bottom egdes of the sides as these were dipped and not spray painted, C6-7. Comes with gray flex trucks and brass journals as seen in the photos.

Possible American Flyer wide gauge flat car prototype. This car was featured in a September 1997 CTT article written by Stan Merritt. The car is most certainly unique as mentioned in the article. It has a typical flat car frame with five thin and short stakes holding a load of six lumber planks. the car is painted gray with the stakes appearing unpainted although they seem to be painted silver but under a blacklight, appear to be the same color as the rest of the car. Comes with very early black flex trucks with no journals as seen in the photos. Comes with the full printed article from Classic Toy trains as provenance.

Set consists of 4644 New Haven electric locomotive with black frame and gold painted windows, green lithographed passenger cars to include two 4151 Eagle Pullman cars and a 4152 Eagle observation car, C7 locomotive with C6 cars. Comes with rare very good to excellent correct original boxes. The set box has one split corner and other slight separations, a decent label but is missing the set number label. It has an interesting number written on the front at the top left that is definitely 7116. This is an exceptionally difficult set to find and is matched nicely and typically only comes with two passenger cars but this one has three.

Varney and Sirus American Flyer Presidential Mayflower set in original shipping boxes. Set consists of 4689 electric locomotive that does not have a motor in it, 4380 West Point Club combine, 4381 Academy Pullman, 4383 Annapolis Pullman and 4382 Army-Navy observation car. The locomotive is missing two of the stanchions holding the grabirons to the roof, the cars are all gorgeous with some toning to some of the brass vestibules and one door, displays very nicely and has never been run as seen in the photos. Comes with the two boxes that were shipped via UPS dfrom varney and Sirus to the first owner.
