Scarce Postwar Lionel HO Gauge 0587-1 Alaska Railroad Diesel Locomotive Dummy A Unit in Original Box. This unit is the first of these made by Lionel. It was originally heat stamped as 0567 but these were factory painted to close in the opening of the 6 to make it look like an 8. Later on, Lionel corrected the heat stamping to have all four digits heat stamped the way they should be. This unit is C8 in a very good original box with original insert.
